Sandra Zappa-Hollman, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Director of academic English programming at Vantage College, University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on the academic literacy trajectories of international EAL students, collaboration between language and content faculty, and the role of students’ individual networks of practice in supporting their social and academic development.
