Sara Nezami Nav is a PhD student and a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) in the TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) program in Oklahoma State University. She has received her MA degree in TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign Language) in Iran and since then started teaching TOEFL and IELTS courses in different language institutes in her home country. She has the experience working as a writing center consultant, facilitating dissertation writing workshops and teaching courses such as “Research Writing for International Graduate Students”, “Academic Writing for International Graduate Students”, “Technical Writing” and “TESOL” in the English department at OSU. Sara’s research interests include academic and professional genres, multimodal genres, web-based and research dissemination genres as well as various approaches to genre analysis including ESP and SFL.
